Good day all...
I am a International film collector. Mainly Martial Arts Movies, but not limited to Drama, Comedy, and Anime. I wish to make this an area where I will share my collection with those that share the same interest. Though my collection is vast, my time is taxed...so unfortunately, I will be unable to accomodate request! My first installment...

"Tun is a professional photographer in Bangkok. Late one night, following a spate of heavy drinking at a close friend’s bachelor party, Tun and his new girlfriend Jane run down a young woman in the street and crash their car into a street side billboard. Seeing no signs of life from the woman Tun panics and the pair flee the scene without so much as calling for an ambulance. The next day he shoots a roll of film at his sister’s graduation only to find upon developing them that the entire roll has been spoiled by a series of strange phenomenon: smears of light, strange shadows, indistinct faces superimposed upon the pictures. Though he initially looks for a physical explanation it soon becomes clear to Tun that he is being haunted."

Stephen Chow: Cj7

"Chow plays, yet again, a loser with a heart of gold, a labourer who lives in a dilapidated house with his young son Dicky. Ti only wants the best for his son, who is constantly ridiculed by his schoolmates and teachers for being poor. One night, during one of his nightly scavenging at a garbage dump, Ti finds a strange object left behind by an alien spacecraft., which turns out to be some kind of an alien dog. Dicky dubs it CJ7 (and later, Little 7), because he sees it as a replacement “toy” for the one his father couldn’t afford to buy him, a state-of-the-art robot dog called CJ1.
Dicky takes Little 7 to school in the hope that it would be able to help him get out of various troubles, because the alien dog seems to have otherworldly powers. Or does it really?"

Shaw Bros. Classic: Shaolin Master Killer

"Gordon Liu seeks refuge at the infamous Shaolin Temple after the Manchus kill off his family. Starting at the bottom cleaning the temple, he progresses through all of the 35 chambers of martial arts training, eventually mastering them all...and how! Gordon as the lead in the 1978 epic, SHAO LIN SAN SHIH LIU FANG, which translates roughly to THE 36TH CHAMBER OF SHAOLIN. This phenomenal Shaw Bros. film was even a bigger hit than FIVE DEADLY VENOMS, and is a reference point for the hundreds of martial arts film that followed. You notice how nearly every martial arts film (American ones included) include a sequence about a student learning the martial arts through a rigorous training regimen? Well, all those movies can be traced back to this classic. In 1979, A distribution company called World Northal released the film in America as MASTER KILLER. Crash Cinema took it one step further and released it as SHAOLIN MASTER KILLER for the widescreen DVD release."

Before World War II, three disciples, Taikan, Choei, and Giryu, were taught by karate master Eiken Shibara in a remote mountain dojo. When the Japanese military police attempt to seize the training hall, the three disciples resist and soundly defeat them, though Choei receives a crippling injury. Afterwards, on his deathbed, their master bids his pupils to focus their skills inward and decide who is worthy of being his successor and inheriting his black belt. Taikan and Giryu, as the only two viable candidates, follow different paths on their journey to discovering the meaning behind their master's last words."

Sukeban Deka: Yo - Yo Girl Cop

"When a “Sukeban Deka” is horrifically killed in the middle of downtown Tokyo via remote control bomb while investigating the popular and mysterious “Enola Gay” teen blogspot, the “Tokumei Keiji” (Special Police) branch of the Japanese Metropolitan Police Dept. decide upon a desperate and radical plan.
Working with CIA, they bring back to Japan the daughter of a former “Sukeban Deka”, who is now incarcerated in New York on various criminal charges. known only a “K”, they offer her a deal. They will release her mother from prison and expung both her and her mother’s criminal records if the daughter will help them.
With no other choice, “K” reluctantly agrees and is assigned a handler, the gruff former Police Inspector, Kira Kazutoshi. Kurayami Keishi (The Shadow Director) and head of the “Tokumei Keiji” branch, gives “K” a state-of-the-art, steel yo-yo and the codename “Asamiya Saki”. She is then sent to a local high school which is the alleged hub for the Enola Gay blogspot. There she meets a motley assortment of delinquents and oddball students including the tragic Kana Taie (who’s friend/lover Kanda Kotomi was also killed via a remote control bomb) and the beautiful but sadistically cold Akiyama Reika, who is the elite “heather” of the school."...

This should keep many interested, and possibly attract new viewers. This is another Classic Film, from actors to directors. Again...no garbage!

My Wife Is A Gangster

"Cha is the the bad-ass supreme of one of the big Korean mafia families. Cha is infamous for eliminating targets every time. Cha is also a woman.
When she learns that her sister has terminal cancer, and her sister's dying wish is for Cha to be married and lead a normal, assasination-free life, Cha takes her sister's wishes to heart and begins her move toward normalcy. Quickly finding herself a suitable mate, she marries and settles down, somehow managing to keep her clouded past from her husband all the while. However, with their best fighter now out of the game, her old mafia family is taking heavy fire from another family that wants to oust them and take over their territory; and Cha is essentially forced back into "the life" part-time, pulling double duty as both assassin and home-maker.
This film was the #1 smash hit in Korean theaters for over a month straight when it premiered in 2001"

This is considered one of my most entertaining, action - packed, visually stunning movies in my collection! There are a lot of Ninja movies out there...and MAYBE a hand full of good ones. Mark this as one of the best! For those Anime fans, here is what I think is "Basilisk" in Live - Action. Enjoy a "Saturday Night Fever"...

Dragon Tiger Gate

Where do I start...? The French...! No, I'm not going to go down that road. The name of this spot is "Asian/International Cinema". So, not only will my installments be from Asia, but from Europe, South America, etc. The Europeans have some talented fighters and creative ideas...You will find as you stay tuned, that America take a lot of ideas, and sometimes just rip entire productions from over - seas.
