there are some apps that you can find on here like XTask which will bring back that X in the top left of your screen which will then enable you to close out of programs, but what i like to do instead is just place the "Task Manager" Application in the quick menu on my homescreen, and when i want to close applications, i just open that up and click end tasks on the ones i want to close
thats x button/htc task manager.... what you have to do to close the application completely is click and hold the x in the corner to close and tap to minimize.Originally Posted by SoCalTURBO [Only the registered members can see the link click here to register]
still didn't work. when i go to my text messages and tap the X, the screen closes but the app still running in the background. if i hold the X on the corner, it doesn't do anything..
I came from mogul then tp then tp2... there used to be an option in the setting where you can enable closing the app by hitting X.. i don't see that option anywhere on the WM6.5... anyone else having this issue??
it does work and you press and hold and than you let go you jsut dont keep holding or anything. (1 second hold) if you dont like the stock one try a different aftermarket one like task facade, dotfred, magicbutton, etc.Originally Posted by SoCalTURBO [Only the registered members can see the link click here to register]
